Grinvest Finland operates on a venture builder model: we identify market opportunities, refine ideas, assemble teams and take companies to market. We don’t just fund, we actively build companies together with founders and partners.

How we build together
1. From idea to concept
We bring our own idea to the table or we develop yours. We analyze the market, validation and competitive advantage together with the team.
If the idea has potential – we build a company around it.
2. Team and founder model
We build the right team around:
- founder or co-founder
- technical or commercial expert
- advisor / investor
Grinvest acts as structural support – providing administrative, financial and legal support. Founders receive their share through a sweat equity model, and roles are clearly defined through a vesting principle.
3. Financing and SPV structure
New companies can be established under their own SPV company. This ensures:
- a transparent ownership structure
- a clear division of responsibilities
- the possibility of bringing in investors in stages
The SPV enables each project to grow on its own – but benefit from the resources of the entire Grinvest ecosystem.
4. Growth and scaling
Grinvest’s team supports the company operationally:
- strategic planning and government cooperation
- financing arrangements and internationalization
- building a customer and partner network
The goal is not a “quick exit” but 3–5 years of controlled growth, during which a sustainable business and real value are built.
